Here is another idea...............Saddam as he realized the end was near, that was six months ago probably, he managed to make his mark. For one his attempt to fight against the invading army was more like a staged show. Then instead of making Custer like stand sent his army home, vacated all government institutions to be looted and cleaned up, and opened all the bank doors. The consequence is that he did not cause vast number of Iraqi's to be used as target practice and left nothing for the victor to take over. Is that cleaver or what, I just don't know, but sounds like a good idea.

Now we have to not only rebuild what we distroyed, but reinvent a government system that will require more time and occupation of the country. This prolonged occupation could lead to unrest and unrest lead to longer occupation.......you see the pattern!!!!

Meanwhile there is no smoking gun, except neocons are shrugging thier shoulders and saying we never said there is a need for the smoking gun. They know American people have a short memory and these minor detailes will not matter in the long run. Six mons from now they wont even be talking about Iraq. Does anybody remember Nicaragua!?!?!?! We did bring democracy to them through contras,,,,right. Go check that poor country out, its a mess.

I am disappointed with Iraqi brass, I kinda wanted to see them bigger than life with balls to kill themselves before being caught!!! Is that me or are there more like me out there in that twisted world of bull shitters......................

Ok, the middle east is won!! I don't get the idea of naming what one does to ensure its survival and prosperity, WAR. The good old boys in the White House and Pentagon should be more creative and come up with a new name like Revenge, Teaching a Listen, or Operation Keeping Order. Here is my take on what this "War" was all about.

First, it wasn't and will never be about bringing democracy to Iraqi's or anyone else for that matter. Lets be clear, there is no way even in a cool day in hell where anyone can "bring" democracy to anyone else. Democracy is a process (not a Big Mac) that depends on indigenes factors and movements. Granted big powers have messed with the internal forces over there for so long (since world war II) that such native movements are hampered, but non the less it has to begin and reach its hight internally.

This overt "Operation" like many covert oprations in that past and by all indications in the future has three objectives:

1- Big one - Ensure that 9-11 like attack or WMD attack on US soil will not occur. I am all for that man.

2- Response to 9-11, this is for internal US consumption only, you can call it a wink and nod by DC power house to average citizen that a major enamy power house is paying for that crime, eventhough he may or may not have had anything to do with the original crime. This action suppose to bring a sense of comfort to the stressed out public. This is in some ways is a mob like approach to acts of vilance aginst it. You go and hit him and his cohorts hard to make sure they all undestand not to mess with Texan.

3- Long term US interest facilitation - Since political dances could take years and/or dacades to bring economic benefit to US, military actions have always been like short cuts for achieving that same goal. Interms of geopolitic/economic interest of US in the region this operation has pushed the clock by I would say about 15 years. I say this is very inexpensive and clever way always available to superpowers to open up windows of opportunities in a short order.

Now, we sit on the side line and watch the outcome, I predict that our forces will be in Afganistan and Iraq among other contries in the region for the next fifty years or whenever the fossile fuel is replaced. Please don't count on having our boys coming home soon. We will have about 5 to 10 thousand in Afghanistan and 25 to 35 thousand in Iraq (after the dost settles down).

Meanwhile the Iraq operation will bring some nice and easy (but small) business to US companies. We have to rebuild what we distroyed and after that I am sure Iraq will need to have the latest weapons from us to make sure Iran is not going wild there. This way Iraq will owe US and multinational banks tons of money with nice interest rates to ensure the every drop of oil out of the county is accounted for. Did you know Saudi Arabia and Kuwait was sold (didn't really buy them since US runs the show) lots of sophisticated weaponary that they'll never use. This means Saudi/Kuwaite oil is paying for US soldiers to maintain and operate the weapons, now this is full service!!!! I suspect Iraqi's weaponary will have to be maintained by US!!! I would have respected the US more if they had asked Iraq, Qatar, Saudi Arabia,....... to just pay let say 20% of thier oil revenue for protection and allwed them to blow the rest on rolex watches!!!! Then we wouldn't have to ride the high horse of moral nation crapp.

Here is my remedy (you see I just don't only bitch):

Have UN give all the Gulf nations and deadline to redraft their constitution, say in six months and begin building democratic institutions. Offer Middle East truth commission and give all Mobaraks, Sheikhs, and dum fucks graceful way out of power. They can even keep some of the ill gotten monies. Meanwhile US and Europians draft a international business transaction guidelines with enough transparacy for average citizen in Timbaktoo be able to see its "underware". Give UN institutions enough power so no fuck brain will be safe from legal ramafication of illigal act.

I need to see an independant Palistanian state represented at the UN by end of 2003, no and or buts. This means, a whole nation not a fucking swiss cheese, you know what I mean rummy/sharon. The fucking settlements have to go, kapish. Begin real discussion about disarming Jerousalim since it will become Palistan's capital (east half). Lets not forget to make sure Israel does not and will ever have WMD. In return we demand all newly elected Arab leaders spend one week a year in Israel kabuts to help that country, just joking!!! Iam getting tired of talking about this stuff..........
