Here are the three AXIS at work today and for most parts in all of human history:

Axis of resource domination ====== Group of nations/multinations at the top of the food chain banding together to make sure they remain at top of the food chain.

Axis of Why Not Us =========== Group of nations that have the resources and realize what is going on but have messy home situations.

Axis of No Clue ===== The vast majority of nations and hamlets that have no clue as to what is going on.
