OK, how long will US occupy nations and wonder why they are not fixed! Afghanistan is unravelling and lets not even talk about Iraq. Meanwhile some good things are happening in rest of the Arab world. Egypt, Tunisia, Bahrain, and Yemen are good examples of the changes the area will see in the next 5 to 10 years. Other one man states like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan and UAE will be next. Syria will most likely be a while before brakes up since west is both for it and not for it. Once the dust settles on these failed puppet states slate will be cleaned for perhaps genuine beginnings of a civil societies to take holed. Even then it will be a long hard road to see sustainable forward development in the area. The "outside factor" like thirst for OIL and geopolitical chess games by major powers is another reason why this transition will be very messy. Unfortunately more US and EU citizen will most likely die in the process, in fact the loss of life is already factored in the equation by WEST policy managers. The other factor for the next decade will be which of these nations will have nuclear breakout. With Iran on the verge and Israel (son of US) already a club member things are gone a get HOT........................
